Software
For AI 2027 Conference — online — we’re using Zoom. We use a Zoom Meeting, from where we will ‘broadcast’ the various talks. After the talks we’ll run 2 breakout sessions via the same meeting (you can pick your own), where your camera and audio can be on, and you can ask your questions/bring your situations ‘life’ to our experts, in a small room!
To join in, no installation is needed — join from your browser, or install the Zoom app or desktop client for the smoothest experience. We'll send you a link before the event, so you can jump straight in.
On the Zoom hub, you can chat with speakers and other attendees, go live in the breakout rooms or quietly lurk & learn in the background. Make sure to say hello to all the friendly people around once you've joined! ;-) 👋👋🏼👋🏾
The Smashing AI 2027 Conference runs Tuesday, December 1, 2026, 5–9 PM CET / 8 AM–12 PM PT:
🌁 8 AM — San Francisco
🍁 11 AM — Toronto
🗼 5 PM — Paris
🐪 8 PM — Abu Dhabi
🐉 12 AM (+1) — Beijing
How It Works
Joining is simple — be online at least 15 mins before we start, so we can connect and mingle first.
- Check your confirmation email.
Once you've registered, you'll get a confirmation email, and we'll send your join link closer to the event. Something wrong? Email hello@smashingconf.com and we'll sort it. - Check your machine setup.
Join from your browser, or install the Zoom app or desktop client for the smoothest experience — either way, close other tabs first. - Secure a good Internet connection.
A stable connection makes for a much better experience. - Meet friends early in Slack.
Connect early in the SmashingConf Slack — say hello and tell us where you're from.
Accessibility
Zoom states that it conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA, Revised Section 508 and EN 301 549. During AI 2027 Conference, that gives you:
- Live, auto-generated captions during the broadcast talks,
- Full keyboard navigation and screen reader support, with adjustable audible announcements,
- Adjustable caption and chat font sizes, plus dark mode.
One thing to flag honestly: Zoom's live captions are English-only and don't carry over into the breakout sessions, so our breakout Q&A sessions won't have live captioning. If that's a blocker for you, please reach out and we'll do our best to help.
We hope you have a wonderful learning experience — let us know if we can improve anything at hello@smashingconf.com. Meow and thank you! ❤️
