Pathé Tuschinski

The inside of Pathé Tuschinski

Pathé Tuschinski is a historic cinema in Amsterdam, renowned for its stunning blend of Art Deco and Art Nouveau architecture. Opened in 1921, it offers a luxurious event experience with beautifully restored interiors and state-of-the-art technology.

Pathé Tuschinski will be our home for both conference days.

Oh, Tuschinski! I have such sweet memories of that magical place — the colours, the curves, the carpets! Can’t wait to be back in that beautiful theatre again!

Getting into Amsterdam

Amsterdam is well connected, and quite easy to get around. But please, if you need any help or advice planning your trip to Amsterdam, don’t hesitate to send us an email, we really love to help!

🛬 By Plane

Schiphol, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (AMS Airport).
The closest airport is Schiphol Amsterdam, which is about 15km away from our venue and has many connections.

From there, we recommend taking the train to Amsterdam Central, which only takes about 15–20 minutes. Alternatively, you can also get a taxi, which will take about 30 minutes door-to-door and will cost between €40–60, make sure you get one of the official taxis.

Rotterdam The Hague, the Netherlands (RTM Airport)
Rotterdam The Hague Airport is around 70km from our venue in Amsterdam. It’s a small, easy airport with mostly European flights.

From there, take the airport bus to Rotterdam Central Station (approx. 20 minutes), then catch a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station (about 40–50 minutes). Altogether, the trip takes around 1.5 hours. Taxis are available but pricey — expect to pay around €120–150 for the full ride to Amsterdam.

Eindhoven, the Netherlands (EIN Airport)
Eindhoven Airport is about 125km from Amsterdam and serves mostly low-cost carriers.

From the airport, take a bus to Eindhoven Central Station (roughly 20 minutes), then a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station (about 1 hour 20 minutes). Total travel time: around 2 hours. A taxi all the way to Amsterdam would take about 1.5 hours and cost upwards of €200 — not recommended unless you’re sharing.

💺 By Train

The central train station in Amsterdam is well connected. There are many direct fast trains connecting Amsterdam to Paris, Berlin, London and beyond.

The central train station is a short tram/bus/bike ride or about a 20-minute walk away from the conference venue. Check the NS website for more details.

🚌 By Bus

Prefer a (sleeper) bus? Why not? Organisations like Flixbus offer trips from many many destinations in Europe for affordable prices.

Getting around in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is famously easy to explore — whether you’re strolling, biking, or hopping on public transport.

Walking

Amsterdam is a great city to walk around, as it’s not too big and the sidewalks are usually pretty good. Do watch out for passing bikes! 🚲

Bicycle

Go full Dutch and rent a bike. Maybe not for the faint-hearted, but truly a great way to get around in one of the most bike-friendly capitals of the world. There are many options to check out!

Trams or Buses

Amsterdam has many great public transport options as well. The public transport in Amsterdam is cashless and requires debit/credit cards, smartphones, or the Iamsterdam City Card to check in and out.
