Lunch Session

Interested in getting even more out of your Smashing experience? Our friends at Tito are hosting a session to share more about what they do. The session is free, includes lunch, and has just 40 spots available.

At lunchtime, follow one of the volunteers in a blue shirt to Room 3. Grab lunch, settle in, and enjoy the session. It takes about an hour, so you will still have time to relax and mingle afterwards.

In October 2023, the team at Tito were given the opportunity to work on a project that allowed them to do every developer’s best dream and worst nightmare: the big rewrite. A year later, at SmashingConf Antwerp, Paul told the story of taking that speedily built app and iterating it into a minimum viable product.

Here we are in 2026 and the same app is just about ready to launch to the world as a robust platform for professional events. Paul joins us again in Amsterdam to tell the story of bringing a new product to market, the ups and downs, balancing customer requests with product vision, and attempting to balance ambition with pragmatism to ship something to be proud of.

Paul Campbell is CEO and Co-founder of Team Tito, a Dublin-based company building delightful products for event organisers. He is also extremely passionate about music, both listening and making.
