Sunday, October 8

We have a few lovely events planned today if you're already in town or live nearby.

🧇 Walking Waffles Tour

Join the Walking Waffles Tour and learn all about Antwerp and Vitaly's favorites. We'll meet in front of the venue at 13:00. Register a spot.

🍫 Chocolate Workshop

Learn all about chocolate at our Chocolate Workshop at 15:00. Come with us to learn a lot about making chocolate. Learn about ingredients, preparations, tasting and decoration while making your own 'BonBons'. Learn more and register a ticket.

Monday, October 9

We do like Mondays! Today are our workshops, and in the evening, the wonderful Jam Session.

Workshops

Our doors open at 9:00 for a 9:30 start, and coffee will await you. We are at the Lindner Hotel, right next to the train station. We'll take care of coffee, snacks and lunch.

🎙️ Jam Session

The Jam Session doors open at 18:00 and we start at 19:00. You don't want to miss an evening of talks and meeting new people. Program and registration!

Tuesday, October 10

🏃‍♀️ Morning Run

We are starting the day with a 5K run. We are meeting at 7:00 in front of Bourla.

Conference

Our doors open at 8:30 for a 9:40 start. Snacks, coffee, and drinks are provided throughout the day. You will find the full schedule on our schedule page.

For lunch, we've listed our favorites on a map. We'll also offer two catered lunch sessions by Storyblok & Supernova. Learn more and register a spot!

After Party

Time to party it up! We look forward to seeing you again at 7 PM at Bar Capitale, situated in the Stadspark (Citypark). Enjoy a couple drinks on us, hang at the bar, or sit down and meet some new cool people! The party is for attendees only, don't forget your badge.

Wednesday, October 11

It's our second conference day! We hope you'll join us in time for the Mystery Speaker.

🇧🇪 Walking Tour

If you don’t want your SmashingConf to end yet, join us for a Walking Tour! On this fun historic city tour, our guide will not only introduce you to the history and some of the most beautiful sights of Antwerp. We meet at 18:15 in front of Bourla.

🥁🎸Brad’s Jam!

When Brad Frost suggested to having a little music jam session, we thought, let's make this happen! If you play an instrument or sing, join us for an evening of jamming and fun! Make sure you register a spot, due to the limited space available!
