We know many people have questions regarding the upcoming SmashingConf Austin and the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We’d like to let you know what’s happening on our end.

Right now, there are plenty of restrictions in place, including travel for some of our attendees, speakers and sponsors, and it seems likely these will increase in the coming weeks.

It’s hard to look into the future with the situation changing week by week, but with a significant amount of time before the conference we expect we will be able to run the event as intended.

If we had to make the decision to postpone or cancel the event, then your ticket would be valid for the new date, could be swapped for one of our other events, or cancelled without charge. You can see how we handled this for San Francisco here.

Of course we will inform the ticket holders and we will keep this page updated about any changes.
