SmashingConf 2022 Austin Postponed
Dearest Friends,
Hope you are having a good week so far.
Unfortunately we have had to decide that we have to (once again) postpone our Austin conference. While the pandemic is getting weaker globally, and more and more things are getting back to ‘normal’, there are still many restrictions to contend with, and unfortunately we had to conclude that these are too much for our community and us to successfully organize an Austin event that we are all happy with.
Obviously we are gutted that we have to do this, as we were enormously looking forward to the event. We are planning to postpone the conference to 2023. Of course, we will keep you updated about the new date.
What does this mean for you and your ticket?
Your ticket has been automatically moved to the new conference. If you can not join us next year you have a couple of options:
- Transfer your ticket to another member of your team by going into the settings on your ticket originally sent by Ti.to.
- Transfer your ticket to our SF conference (June 20–23, one week before Austin’s planned date), Freiburg (September 5–7) or to NY (October 10–13)
- Get a Smashing Voucher for another conference or a Smashing Online Workshop
- Alternatively, you can get a refund.
For any of the last three options, please email us via hello@smashingconf.com.
If you’ve booked your accommodation at the Carpenter Hotel, we’ve made sure you can apply for a full refund.
We thank you so much for your support over the past few years. Whilst it has been a challenging time, we are super thankful to keep our community band together and cannot wait til we can celebrate in person once again.
