Meet Smashing Meets

Meets is our online-only, community meet-up event that we have been running since the spring of 2020.

The events are usually centered around a topic or cause, and feature a few amazing speakers and some side-events. We try to run our online events the way we like all events: friendly & inclusive, with amazing speakers and some fun & banter on the side.

Meets Modern CSS 🔧

April 1, 2025

Our first scheduled Meets is Meets CSS, running on Wednesday April 1. We'll feature three amazing speakers and a lively panel, hosted by our own Geoff Graham.

This edition we talked about Figma, and looked at setting up a design system and using real data in Figma. We also looked at a very real world situation of designing in crisis times, and challenged ourselves redesiging a weather app.
