All our Meets events are nice, interactive and (hopefully 😻) interesting. Our upcoming Meets Figma (and more) will make you (even) more enthusiastic about our favorite digital design tool Figma.
We have two absolute Figma experts on the line-up, and our friends from MacPaw will give you an interesting insight about designing in crisis. Register your free ticket and spread the love! We open our virtual doors 15 minutes before we start on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 8 AM PT 🌍 and we’ll finish around 11 AM.
🛩️ 8 AM — Seattle
🎓 11 AM — Boston
🚂 5 PM — Stockholm
🌆 12 AM (Mar 1) — Hong Kong
We love it when our speakers do live things: they show how they work — their setup, techniques and shortcuts for getting work done in live interactive sessions. So you can learn from their techniques (and mistakes).
February 28 – Conference
For our upcoming Smashing Meets event on Figma (and more), our friendly host will welcome you and quickly explain how the Meets will run. We can’t wait to meet you!
Designing For Designers
When building a design system in Figma it’s important to focus on your users. Often these are (also) other designers on your team. Molly shares best practices that will make your Figma styles, components, and workflows easy for your team to adopt and use long-term.
Designing in Crisis Times
We all talk about crisis design, but very few of us actually go through a 'real' crisis. Unfortunately, the people of Ukraine do.
In this talk, find out how Ukraine based company Setapp by MacPaw managed to work through blackouts, staff shortages and more — through reorganising workflows and adapting policies. Although obviously we hope no one gets to experience what Ukraine is going through, these lessons learnt can be applicable in many (smaller) crisis situations too.
Time for a 10 minute break to stretch those legs, use that (super-clean ) toilet and give the gray matter a small break!
Designing with Real Data
Designing with real data has enourmous advantages, and is also just really cool. Figma has some amazing features which help you do this well. In her talk, Christine will explore two tools (spreadsheets and API) and show you — in real time — how it works in Figma.
Figma Challenge & Panel discussion
Time to challenge yourself creating that one data Viz to capture the event’s core (and win a free online conference ticket), or check out our speaker panel for some interactive discussions
What? The End? Noooos! But we are certain you learned something, and had some fun in the process. And luckily there is always the videos, the slides, the collaborative docs, and more. We’ll send them your way shortly. Thank you for joining us & see you again soon! ⛱
