  • Jay Demetillo

    Jay Demetillo

    With 10+ years of experience working in New York City, San Francisco, Singapore, China, and currently, Australia, Jay Demetillo has built up an impressive resume of experience along with creating impact.‍

    Jay has designed for companies such as Twitter, Pinterest, Yahoo, and Grab. Jay was an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts in San Francisco and has spoken/lectured in China for ACG. He’s worked on notable projects such as the Bay Lights, Gaspar Brasserie, San Francisco’s Park System SFPark, GrabFood, Grab’s Facial Recognition for Drivers, and AudioProtect. Currently, he’s at Canva working on some cool projects.

  • Rachel Gogel

    Rachel Gogel

    Rachel Gogel (she/her) is a Parisian creative director, designer, speaker, mentor, and educator whose career has followed the rise and dominance of an entire era of digital design. Based in San Francisco, she runs her own small consultancy as an independent design executive and has led major brand initiatives at GQ, The New York Times, Meta, Godfrey Dadich, Airbnb, and Dropbox.

    Now working as a solopreneur, Rachel influences many exciting projects for her clients — from launching editorial publications from scratch, to leading org design efforts, to designing TV show pitch decks for influential public figures, to creating story-driven digital experiences, to building brand systems for global media and entertainment companies in a fractional capacity. She is committed to designing teams that build brands — with a focus on culture and technology. When she is not consulting, Rachel teaches and is also a passionate advocate for gender equity in the design industry. After hours, you can find Rachel museum hopping, planning her next trip abroad, or relaxing with her wife at home.
