What You’ll Learn

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to rapidly build a web application by using basic JavaScript knowledge along with Corvid. Dive into basic and advanced techniques of the Wix Editor. Learn how to use animation, scroll effects, and advanced design techniques to create unique web experiences. Discover tips and tricks for web design, product and styling. Work with the Editor hands on and get a chance to ask all your questions.

We’ll also cover working with integrated databases, using front-end code, writing JavaScript, working with npm modules and more. Afterwards, we’ll be available to answer questions and help anyone who wants to build a web application together.

About Mor Gilad

Mor is a Lead Frontend Software Engineer at Wix with over 8 years of experience. For the past 3 years, she has been part of the team developing Corvid and is now focused on building the Corvid Developer Community. Prior to joining Corvid, she was a senior developer at IronSource, and she recently took part in creating the first-ever JavaScript book in Hebrew. Mor also volunteers for the Women in Tech Community in Israel, and is a committee member of the YGLF Conference.

About Yotam Kellner

Yotam Kellner is the Lead Mentor for the Wix Design Playground. Over the past 4 years, he’s worked as a web designer in the Wix Studio. He’s presented at design talks in the US, Brazil, Lithuania and Israel where he teaches Wix Editor basics. Previously, he was co-owner of Soul-Royale.com, a motion design studio in Tel Aviv.
