Day 1 — Role scope
8:45 am PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Understanding and shaping your place in the company’s hierarchy and activities. Design management is an umbrella term, and there is no “standard” skillset or job description. We’ll analyze what a leadership position means in your context and how you can best apply your skills and time in your current or desired company.
11:00 am – 11:30 am
Q&A with Slava on the day’s material. Networking!
Day 2 — Stakeholder management
8:45 am PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Figuring out whom to collaborate with and how to do it right. Management is all about people, and it’s hard for newbie leaders to establish the right relationships with the right people. We’ll structure your stakeholder groups and define the optimal collaboration formats with each of them.
11:00 am – 11:30 am
Q&A with Slava on the day’s material. Networking!
Day 3 — Employee journey
8:45 am PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Gap and opportunity analysis. Your success as a manager is a sum of your team members’ successes. We’ll map the experiences of your new or potential subordinates and find stages where you can show maximum value and tackle the most critical problems.

Q&A with Slava on the day’s material. Networking!
Day 4 — Building a system of UX goals
8:45 am PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.
9:00 am – 11:00 am
Building a system of UX goals and matching them with the company’s business mission. The power of UX is massive, but sometimes ambiguous to non-designers. Something that is not properly measured doesn’t exist in the eyes of the leadership team; that’s why it’s essential to connect UX outcomes to general business outcomes. We’ll analyze how your company operates and how the design impacts its success.
11:00 am – 11:30 am
