Day 1 — Why Friction Happens + The UX Value Loop

8:45 AM PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
A deep dive into the real reasons product teams struggle. We’ll unpack the universal patterns inside every organization: misaligned incentives, competing priorities and the invisible communication failures that keep teams stuck. Then we’ll explore the UX Value Loop — your new lens for understanding why collaboration breaks down and how to fix it.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Q&A with Joe on the day’s material. Chat with each other.

Day 2 — The Five Requirements for Trust + Respect

8:45 AM PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
If you want collaboration, you have to earn it. In this session, we dig into the five core behaviors that generate trust — the ones that determine whether people take your ideas seriously, support your decisions, or shut down the moment you speak. We’ll look at how your actions shape how people think about UX and design and how to intentionally shift that perception.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Q&A with Joe on the day’s material. Chat with each other.

Day 3 — Mission, Brand + the UX Charter

8:45 AM PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Get crystal clear on who you are, what you do and why it matters. This is where everything clicks. You’ll articulate your mission in eight words, define the brand you want inside the organization and create a simple, powerful UX Charter that sets expectations and anchors your value.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Q&A with Joe on the day’s material. Chat with each other.

Day 4 — Understanding the Business Side of the House (Part 1)

8:45 AM PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Business first. Users second. And why that does NOT diminish your craft. Most friction comes from a simple truth: the business sees the world through one lens and UX sees it through another. In this session, we bridge that gap.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Q&A with Joe on the day’s material. Chat with each other.

Day 5 — Understanding the Business Side (Part 2): Visibility, Influence + Saying No

8:45 AM PT
Virtual doors open, registration, chat and introductions.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
This is where you become impossible to ignore. We’ll dig into the business model, the numbers that drive decision-making and how to reposition your work so stakeholders see its real value. And we’ll end with one of the most important skills you can learn: saying no without becoming the villain.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Q&A with Joe on the day’s material. Chat with each other.
