SmashingConf is coming back to San Francisco, and this year our conference is entirely focused on cutting-edge front end. With topics like accessibility and advanced CSS to JavaScript gems and web performance, all front end specialist will really enjoy this conference.

Front End Conference
12 Speakers
We will have 12 absolute experts on front end web development speaking over two days at our San Francisco theater. The conference will take place at Fort Mason, with amazing views at the bay.
Our speakers are all very experienced in their field, and give practical yet inspirational talks on topics they really care about. Want to check out some talks and impressions from previous events, we have quite some photos and talk videos.
Front End Workshops
6 Workshops
On the day before, and the day after the conference, we are running six practical in-person workshops, focused on various front end topics. These workshops also take place at Fort Mason.
Our workshops are practical, good value and focus on front end skills and tools which will immediately help you become a better developer. On top of that, they are also good fun, and let you interact with your teacher and other workshoppers as well.

SmashingConf San Francisco is a friendly, inclusive, 2-day front end conference, with 1 track, 12 speakers, 250–300 attendees and two days of hands-on workshops.
Our front end speakers are great: they are absolute experts in their field, show how they work — their setup, techniques and shortcuts — in live interactive sessions. Our conference covers a range of front end topics, from JS (frameworks) to Performance and Accessibility.
